Abstract

Tirukural considered as the literature for this world has been translated into the most of the classical languages of the world. It is here noteworthy that it was first translated in Latin. Till date it is being translated into the various languages of the world. In this regard, this paper aims to find the semantic difficulties I translating Tirukural into the Sanskrit, one among the classical languages of India.
